Do you prefer to buy new or used LV items?

I never buy used item. I don't like owning a bag that have been owned before.

I personally like new for LV... I'm too scared of eBay, and I really don't like doubting the authenticity of my handbags. But now that I *know* there are reputable second-hand stores/sites out there, I might give it a shot some time.

I'm the same. Anything you can get in the stores, I buy new.

I have only bought new, but I have no objection to buying a gently used or like-new bag. Just haven't gotten around to doing so yet.

Definitely new!! I love hand-selecting at the boutique and I love to watch my bag grow right before my eyes. (develop patina, etc) I would definitely appreciate a pre-loved bag if it was passed on to me from a family member or friend.

I prefer new or like-new. I bought a well-loved patina'd bag once but it was too patina'd for me =( though I loved the bag, I sold it.

I've gotten a dustbag with the items I've bought from let-trade. I PREFER new but heck, if you can get a used item that looks brand new for $100s less than I say go for it!

I prefer the new. I tried buying preowned but I found out I didn't love them as much as the new ones - there's nothing better than growing old together . Preowned is okay if it is in almost mint condition.

I've had good luck with my used items on ebay but the sellers are highly recommended.
No bad luck so far, but brand new from the boutique cannot be beat!
