Normally I'd just post these pics in the modeling thread, but I'm so excited about this little innovation I want everyone to see it.
So, I bought this uber-yummy 03 Mastic PH First from one of the sweetest people I met on eBay, a nice man in Italy. I got a great deal on it, not to mention a gift of a beautiful hardback book of vintage 50s Dolce Vita era photography by a well respected Italian photographer, the seller's father.
The bag is gorgeous and one of my favorites. But it came without the strap. Necessity being the father (in this case, mother) of invention, I present to you: Deco's new double-bagging style.
This will probably only work well with two Firsts. Two Cities may be too bulky, but if anyone tries it out, please post some pics. I paired the 03 Mastic PH with my 03 Black PH, with the zipper side on each facing out. I attached two O rings, one from each First, to the same clip on the strap.
I'm LOVING this look. The color combination possibilities are endless, and this will breathe new life into those of you who may have a First without a strap. Very easy, very convenient, you get the look, color and SPACE of two Firsts, but only one bag to keep track of and carry around.
Finally, I've shamelessly included (actually couldn't avoid
) some update pics of Penguin. She has grown immensely, and is not done growing yet! She's not what you would call a petite girl. I think she's an evolved, super-cat. I love her to death.
