I guess it depends on what you'd be using it for. I think the smaller courier can be used by a woman for a large everyday bag or a carry-on. It's big enough to hold quite a few items for travel yet looks really good when it's slouchy and holding just the daily essentials. The XL is more of a travel bag/duffle that I would personally use as a luggage piece for weekend trips. Even though size wise, it's just a few inches bigger, I think it would swallow me whole.........I'm 5'4", 105lbs. If you're taller though, the XL might be just the right size for you.

thanks, and hi cracker! btw, i appreciated your thread w/current courier list/thread recently too. based on what everyones saying i'm going to stay w/the regular sized courier. i don't think i'm enuf woman for the extra courier.
