1. It's really warm out here, so I just whipped up so no bake cookies to take to a fundraiser I have tomorrow (Dog Deserve Better, Chain Off). I'm sure most of you have made these before, but I thought I'd post the recipe for any "no-bake virgins!"

    Any other favorite cookie recipes?

(I know this goes totally against the whole health and fitness subforum project, but you've got to live a little!)

    No Bake cookies:

    1 stick butter
    2 cups sugar
    6 tbs cocoa
    1/2 cup milk
    1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
3 cups oatmeal (like the quaker oats kind in the canister -- no instant!)

Mix together butter, sugar, cocoa and milk. Combine is saucepan and cook on stove until boiling. Revome from heat and add vanilla, peanut butter and oatmeal. Stir into mixture until evenly mixed. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Allow to stand until firm. (may want to refrigerate on hot days).
