Nope, but the people selling them have a better chance of not getting them again. I'm pretty sure if you don't use one twice in a row- you're kind of off the list. Honestly, aroudn that time you can just go to a store and say your mom got the card but you didn't and were wondering if you could get the discount. Not everyone knows about the card so it's not like every person walking in the door will ask, but don't like scream it.
Using one just won't give you a better chance because it varies each time how a customer gets one. Whether it be a top customer, a person who has only spent more than $250 once (without an exchange) and recieved a thank you card (if you spend it and don't receive one, the SA probably didn't include you in the system) or just because you're entered in our system.
