Coach Carly Large - Is Style 10616P Authentic? What is the 'P'?

Hi,

Does anyone know if the Coach Carly Large Leather Bag (style 10616) ever comes with a 'P' at the end of the serial number on the creed? (ex--> No G08S-10616P)

I saw one listed on ebay and was wondering what it was and if it is authentic (the number, not the bag...).

Okay - I found that it means 'Pilot Store' - Im sorry if this is a silly question - but is that a department store? Why do they get their own Style numbers? So lost....
