  1. OK LADIES (especially Chanel PHers:heart: ) here it is: i know it seems fattening, but its not! no bad ingredients used!
    INGREDIENTS:
    3 cups all-purpose flour
    1-1/2 tbls. garlic salt
    1 tbl. ground black pepper
    1 tbl. paprika
    1/2 teasoon poultry seasoning

    1-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
    2 egg yolks, beaten
    1-1/2 cups water

1 qt. vegie oil for frying
1 (3 lb.) whole chicken, cut into pieces
    DIRCTIONS:
    1. In 1 medium bowl mix together 3 cups of flour, garlic salt, 1 tbls. black pepper, paprika and poultry seasoning. In a separate bowl, stir together 1-1/3 cups flour, salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, egg yolks and water. Thin with additional water if the batter is too thick.
    2. Heat oil in a deep-fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Moisten each piece of chicken w/ a little water, then dip in the dry mix. Shake off excess and dip in the wet mix, then dip in the dry mix once more.
    3. Carefully place the chicken pieces in the hot oil. Fry for 15-18 minutes, or until well browned. Smaller pieces won't take as long. Large pieces may take longer. Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.

    enjoy!!

  2. LOL I wish this was low fat! It sounds like a great fried chicken recipe. I love fried chicken! :shame:

  3. Angie..it is! no bad oils, no grease, just a little flour.......

  4. Unfortunatly fat is still fat. You can still get fat from the oil of an avocado (which is regarded as healthier than other fats) vs the oil of animal fat.

  5. Simple and yummy! Gonna try it tomorrow! Love fried chicken!

I think oil or fat is ok, just keep everything moderate.

  6. YAY! thanks for sharing claudia!!!!! -goes off drooling now-

  7. lol any food title that includes the word "fried" is never good for you. Oil is oil, which is fat. This dish is in no way "healthy". :s
