I vote diamonds b/c I am a diamond girl. I have the 33mm with diamond markers and couldn't be happier with the watch. I wear it everday including to work and I feel like I work in a conservative environment. I didn't look into the 38mm, so I can't speak specifically about that size. Good luck!
