Hey ladies! Usually I'm not in the Mulberry forum but I've been lurking in the threads looking at the pochettes and Cara collection. Last summer I saw the Cara Delevigne Bag and fell in love with the design however I cannot do soft leather for the life of me - I don't like to baby my bags and therefore dismissed the idea. Yesterday while at work I was browsing TPF and came across someone's bag from Mulberry's Cara collection and the feelings all came rushing back but this time I'm looking at the Cara Delevigne Strap Pochette. Any opinions would be great (both positive and negative) on the Pochette, collection and brand as a whole!

These have been discussed a few times and below is the thread you should read... I think it's the main one for pros and cons. :graucho:

The goat leather is gorgeous on the camo collection if that's the pochette you're looking at - really soft, but still robust.

I would definitely agree with skater on the quality of the leather as I have a mini camo Cara in midnight blue and it's a peach of a bag. Leather still smells amazing ....;)

Usually I'm against "soft" leather bags, my exception being MJ/MBMJ or if I absolutely love the item (usually its a wristlet/crossbody so I can overlook the leather). This was the case and I ended up purchasing it on the spot. Pictures coming soon[emoji5]️

I bit the bullet and went for it in Oxblood; I adore it as a wristlet and it would definitely make a cute crossbody! I will post pictures once I'm home [emoji5]️

I adore these! Super cute. I have the camo khaki one and just ordered an oxblood one like yours. Congrats on a fab choice. Show us a modelling pic when you get a chance. :smile1:

I have a large khaki camo Cara (I bought in the summer from HoF but they've been discontinued now but are probably still in outlets). The leather is goat and it's beautifully soft, smells gorgeous and is wearing incredibly well, not a scuff or scratch on it. If you go for a Cara item but don't like baby-ing or worrying about your bags I'd suggest avoiding the quilted items, and the oxblood nvt which tends to cratch/mark easily, other ones should be fine. I have a small suffolk in the silky classic calf leather which I think is the same leather as the rivets cara items and it's holding up well too.

I've just ordered the 'classic calf'. New to mulberry so would value any opinions. Always admired the bags but got a bit carried away since summer, so far own a small Bayswater satchel in black nvt, mini Lillian, mushroom metallic, oak bays tote and coin purse( sale) and Georgia May jagger pouch, black buffallo( Xmas pres). Defoe addictive xx
