I would choose the napa, because I tend to go for the classic bags--and think of them as something I will use for years.

You seem to reallllllly love the patent, though, so if you can accept that it's trendy and may look dated in a few years, go for that. I don't think patent leather is ever really out--it is always a good dressy, edgy look.
