Can I trust amazon.com's Bigelow tea?

  1. Lately, I notice that amazon.com sells designer handbags. Honestly, I do not trust 100% the authenticity of these bags, because the bags are sold by any sellers who are not necessarily screened by amazon.com. Last night when I was searching for good sale of Bigelow tea, I found a good bargain from amazon.com, about 10 cents per teabag as opposed to 15 cents (including the $7 discount for buying 3 cases) from www.biggelowtea.com. My question is can I trust that the tea is authentic and safe (no imitation ingredients and not expired)? With all kinds of horror stories about illegal imitation and recall/safety vendor issues with Chinese imports of parts and manufacture, I am a little suspicious. What do you think?
