Can I have your honest opinions? New Dior or keep Chanel?

So I'm wondering if I should let go my my Chanel WOC in patent leather and move over to a Dior WOC-type. Specifically the beautiful Dior Croisier can I please get your honest opinions?

Dior Pros
Beautiful gold
Detachable strap
Fits phone
Color, size, shape is Seasonless (fits different occasions)
Decent price--better "per use" cost
Gold fits me

Dior Cons
Do I need a new purse?
Dior quality? My deerskin Granville started wearing after 3-4 uses!
Light color...am I an appetizer away from ruination?
Will this piece go out of style?

Chanel Pros
The black/burgundy look is amaze-balls
Dark subdued color fits with a lot of things
It's Chanel.
Hm...thought I would have more pros.
It's tried and tested--used in two black ties, casual beach boardwalk, and in between

Chanel Cons
I can't control the color when I want...it's black at times which I no likey.
Only cross body or shoulder
Opening and closing can be a pain at times
Patent finger prints

Keep both Pros
Best of both worlds
This post can be over before it's started

Keep both Cons
Don't need extra purses that are primarily for special events--less use

I can't comment on the Chanel from personal experience but I have this Dior in silver and i love it. I have used it quite a few times so far and it looks perfect. I also happen to love the look of this Dior. to me it is very unique and special. i say Dior!

That Dior is so eye catching and elegant at the same time. Personally I will go for the Dior.

If it were me, I would let go of the CHANEL but opt for either a Miss Dior or Dior New Lock Pouchette Good luck deciding!!

that finish on dior....people say corners wear away and there is no way for dior to refurb it.

if you are worried about wear, i wouldnt get that one

Ouch, that's what I was worried about. Has it been said in the forums here, or just from people you know? I'd love to read more about it.

Ouch, that's what I was worried about. Has it been said in the forums here, or just from people you know? I'd love to read more about it.

It's been said on this forum. Normally Dior's products are more durable but this perforated metallic Cannage is on the delicate side. If you only wanted this Dior style, then I suggest keeping the Chanel WOC instead.

The Dior does look more stunning than the Chanel in this case, though.

They are completely different, and both beautiful. I think it'd be nice to have both in your collection if that's possible.

just looks alone, this dior! it's this particular microcannage that lured me back to Dior. If it's a special occasions only bag, i don't think you have to worry much about wear..

btw Chanel is coming out with so many different variations of wocs, why not buy the Dior first and wait for a woc you truly love?

come to think of it, Dior too is offering more and more wocs..

i would just wait for one (from each fashion house![emoji12]) which takes your breath away. if you are hesitant, it means it's not that special. that's the thinking process i have for bag purchases now anyway[emoji4]

I understand. I just hate being at events with a bag that doesn't work. But there are plenty of throw-away bags I can use (talking Claire's Boutique-types) until I find the right one.

Still looks new. No rubbing or anything loose. I don't baby my bags but don't abuse either.
