Can fuzed grained rings be resized?

  1. I'm not sure, but I don't think you lose colour, because that's determined by the alloys in the gold. I think when it's heated though, as it's a number of layers that have been put together, the bonds between the layers could be damaged. You'd also probably lose the pattern where it's been sized. If going smaller, then you'd lose a bit, and probably be left with a plain line at the break, if going larger, then you'd probably have a plain gold section to extend the ring. If you wanted to have one resized later down the track, I'd have it done by the jeweller who made them! They are gorgeous though!
