Hi dolphingirl!
The "N" stands for Giant Silver ("T" is for Regular brass hardware and "G" is for Giant Gold). I'm not sure what style it could be, though. I haven't seen any references for 173081, though I do know 173080 is a Giant Work. Perhaps you can post some pics?

Hey Guys!
I just wanted to add this...I went to Neiman's today because the SA said she had a Steel PT which I wanted but we were only guessing that it was a Steel because all her computer said was that it was Black. The same thing happen with the Mogano and Cafe'...I wasn't sure what I had...and sad to say but the SAs didn't know as much as I did... Styledrops is the same way...they have their own color names...

A SA once told me that the numbers refer to the actual color code. So I wonder, with Ink having all different codes, it might just be that! cos Ink as we all know are of varying shades of purples and blues.

The Y seems to denote that it's silver hardware. Makes sense for the Besace messenger. Was the weekender a silver hardware bag?

^^^yep!!! It was a 03 WE. Okay, that just cleared something up for me. I found a Courier in Sienna and I couldn't figure out which size it was. Now I know......it's the XL with silver hw. Thanks for your help.

It doesn't have the year or the season. Is it because this is a discontinued line and they didn't have the year /season system yet?
