    A very fine occasion indeed for all the fans of Bottega Veneta. The fashion house, well-known and loved for its menswear, womenswear but mostly for accessories, hosted an exhibition of its jewellery collections. Last night, the boutique in San Lorenzo in Lucina square, only a few metres away from Piazza di Spagna became the set for an exclusive event attended by the likes of actresses Nicoletta Romanoff and Martina Codecasa.

    Although the real protagonists of the evening - exhibition were the jewels designed by Tomas Maier, Creative Director of Bottega Veneta, Starting from 2004, the designer has created two different lines: the "Fashion Jewelry" collection comprising silver and semi-precious stones jewellery which is being updated every year in line with prêt-à-porter trends thus becoming a key accessory for all the fans who wish to complement their Bottega Veneta total look.

    For instance, two staple pieces for next season are cuffs and the necklace with enamelled scarab beetle charms. The other line is "Fine Jewelry"; it was launched in 2006 and comprises highly precious pieces in gold and gems in a changeless, never go out of style design. This collection is made of always available pieces - the classics - as well as ones which are being added season after season.

  12. Jon Hamm, Jeffrey Katzenberg Toast MPTF At Beverly Hills (November 4, 2010)

    Dashing star Jon Hamm of Mad Men and DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg raised a glass to the Motion Picture & Television Fund for their "charitable service to the entertainment industry" at the Bottega Veneta boutique in Beverly Hills. Vanity Fair magazine and Bottega Veneta also sponsored the event. Other guests included Cuba Gooding Jr., Holly Robinson Peete, and David Annable of ABC's Brothers & Sisters.

    The Motion Picture & Television Fund serves to protect the health and quality of life of struggling entertainment industry workers in the Southern California area. The organization started almost ninety years ago by people like actor Charlie Chaplin and director D.W. Griffith and now encompasses six outpatient health centers, a retirement community, and a children's center.
