Hello all! I picked this Bad Boy up last week and hesitated to do a reveal because I am not really sure about it, but a few have asked for pics so I thought I'd share. I apologize that this reveal will not be as well exhibited as my previous ones since I am spending the next few days at my mother's. I don't have all my bags here with me, so I won't be able to do a side-by-side comparison with my WOC until later this week.

    Here goes... READY READY?

  2. Before I decided to post the first picture, I wanted to make sure I have the name correct. I only first heard the name of this Boy from another thread, and thought to google search to verify. What I noticed was that all the pictures I saw in the search results have a different kind of strap. My Reverso does not have an adjustable length strap, whereas all the ones I'm seeing on google do have the traditional two-stud notches that the traditional strap. 3. The leather is super soft. The Boy holds his shape fairly well due to the intricate stitching that reinforces the edges, but the center piece of the flap feels much like lambskin.

Tucking away the strap would make a nice clutch.

  4. Beautiful boy, love the color, congrats!

  5. Awesome red boy!! Love it! I saw some at NM last weekend but it was a blueish grey! Love the red!

  6. The chain is held to the bag by leather loops flat against the back flap.

  7. There are three compartments to this bag.

  8. The compartment right up against the back of the Boy is very flat and has a stitched in card organizer for 6 cards: 2 columns of 3.

  9. The middle compartment does not have any organizer built in.

The outer-most compartment has a zipper closure and a 3 card organizer stitched into it. The upper-most slot is much deeper than the other two. It extends all the way down to the bottom of where the outermost card slot ends. I'm not sure if this slot is mean for bills, hence the depth. I tried putting a credit card in there but it pretty much drowned into the slot.

  10. I'm still not sure if I want to keep it. I imagined my Boy would be sturdy and edgy, dressed in black leather with a versatile strap that could double up should I want him to.

The color is a great color too but I am not sure if I like it on this Boy.

    Any advice?

  13. hellodiane, I think that the boy bags are becoming classics. You have picked a great color that can go from day to evening. But what I think is really spectacular is your reveal. I think you did an amazing job of showing it off and pointing out all the positives. I bet if you read your review back you will make up your own mind. As for me, I think you've talked me into buying a boy reverso of my own. Congrats!!!!

  14. Congrats

  15. very chic color
    thats perfect for the fall

For some reason I like this style of the boy better than the "regular" one, it has that twist that makes it more unique

    Anyways Congrats
