Botkier rose in metallic plum?

I'm really coveting the Botkier black rose hobo in metallic plum. Normally, if I'm going to spend a lot of $$ on a bag, I stick to blacks, grays, and browns so I can wear it with more things. But I'm loving the plum color. Do you think that metallic plum is a color I'll be able to wear for a long time, or will it scream "Fall 2007?"

I don't think the color is too trendy. It's subtle yet makes a statement because it's not the basic black or brown. If you love it, go for it

It's beautiful. It'd be nice to throw a little color into your collection, and this looks amazing. I have a bag in a similar color, and it's surprisingly versatile.

I LOVE this bag! It's at the top of my wishlist, and like everyone else, I'm waiting for it to hit store shelves so I can see it in real life!

It's a beautiful bag in a really muted, not too flashy purple, which I think makes it a classic and not a quick fashion trend of 2007. There's nothing guady or overtly stylish about it, so I definitely think you will be able to wear it for a long time.
