Asphalt grey

I just purchased this color at Bergdof Goodman. I think it’s sold out everywhere else but sometimes Nordstrom has it
There is a slightly lighter pearl gray something out now that is insanely gorgeous. I saw it a few weeks ago in store and it's wow
Yes, I’ve seen that one online. It is a very nice colour. I’ll have to check it out in store.
I think that‘s not a good idea from LOEWE to create a new grey color with the same name „Asphalt“ which is so different to the original color Asphalt. It‘s really confusing!
It is confusing indeed. But I noticed that the pebbled leather tend to look darker in this colour. That reminds me that different organic material such as cotton, wood, and leather, take colours differently.
The colour substance they use may be the same, but different batches of organic matter can never be uniformed.
So each batch might absorb the same colour and dry them differently, creating inconsistent appearance of the pigment.
I'll do an extreme close up of the Asphalt Grey leather once I receive the bag. I should be interesting to compare the leathers and how each takes the colour they named Asphalt Grey.
The bag is on its way to me right now and should be here next week
