anyone ever recieve something by mistake and..kept it? LOL

Wow you are so lucky!! With MY luck, they would never give me credit for the return, and probably charge me TWICE for the shoes!!

Anyway, my mom is a 37 and I would love to be included in the drawing! :flowers: Count me in! Thanks!

I ordered two cashmere sweaters from Johnstons. They sent lambswool instead of casehmere. When I contacted them they said just keep the lambswool sweaters and they then sent the two cashmere sweaters. It would have cost so much to send the lambswool sweaters back that they just said "keep them."

Hey, if the guy (or gal) tells me to keep it, I do! I do try to return the merchandise, therefore, I don't feel one bit bad about keeping it when they say! Then, I get the right thing or a credit a short time later, so it's like I won at the casino!
If you do try in good faith to return the merchandise which was received in error and you're told to keep it you should not feel bad or guilty. It's not like you're stealing it.
I truly don't know why merchants don't want to deal with $15 or $20 of shipping for $400 or more of merchandise...that's got to hit the inventory audit like a ton of bricks! No matter how big the outfit is.
