I have a brand new BV with receipts and dust bag/original box from 2015. Completely untouched and new with all packaging and paperwork. A lovely luxury but no longer a necessity by any means and my lady was kind enough to return it to me to help me out. Wondering what people consider the best way to resell NEW BV? eBay would take such a big cut and a consignment shop would lowball me. Are just meeting someone with high end taste or accepting a 25-30% loss off retail at a minimum my only options? Far past the stores return period. Thank you for your advice!

Unfortunately those will be your only choices since selling and buying is prohibited on here. To help you find someone locally you could try one of the many BBBS groups on Facebook, Craigslist, or Bonanza.com. I've found that purses are just like cars: as soon as you drive those off the lot they diminish in value drastically. Good luck rehoming your beautiful bag!

Be ready. You'll be lucky if you make 50 percent of retail. BV has terrible resale, just terrible. It's great for the second owner, but not so much for the original. I've been on both sides, happy to have gotten such a good price on a like new BV and resigned to only get a fraction of what I paid.

Given that fact, I do believe eBay is ultimately where you can get the most.

Yes, thanks twin-fun!

jjj5 - I want to emphasize that buying and selling on forum is against the rules. You have to be really careful with these questions. If they sound like you are soliciting a sale, your post can be reported and will be removed. Best not to post pictures, and be a little more vague. Because it feels awfully close and you are new to the forum, I am going to edit your post so you see what I mean.

LT Bay Lady sells on malleries. She's a purse forum member too. There was also a seller I dealt with years ago that only sold BV bags but when I checked Malleries list I didn't see her name.

Hi all thanks for the help! It seems as though I'll be selling directly rather than listing it or accepting a fraction of it value from a consignment shop. Thanks for your tips, any other recommended sites would be appreciated!

It's actually Love That Bag - http://www.malleries.com/love-that-bag-s-356.html - two other sellers on Malleries I'm familiar with are trendlee and Strictly Pursonal.

Good luck, jjj5. We can't help you sell your items much here other than what has already been done.
Love That Bag is Canadian and Alice, the founder, is great!
Edit...the logos are different, it's not the same company, sorry!
