Good idea for a topic! Really got me thinking.... I think my signature style consists of folk, rock, and romantic. I'm going to have to think about this one!!

I guess mine's kinda like hippie/rocker/glam lol. I love skinny jeans and stilettos...with some wayfarer sunglasses and any type of looser fitting top. I wear a lot of dresses too when it's hot outside. And of course, the perfect handbag I don't know, my style is kind of ecclectic; I really like mixing it up and a lot of things interest me.

very preppy. Lots of cardigans, blazers....pearls, skinny jeans and flats on the weekends. On the weekdays, skirts and cardigans or skirts and blazers. I also like to thrown in things that are very feminine - pink, ruffles, etc.

A little bit of everything. Sometimes I wear questionable outfits that I like, and that's what matters to me. Not everyone is going to love what I wear all the time. However, I also love classics such as polos, white button downs, blazers, slacks, etc.

A retro feel. Slightly 50s and slightly 60s. Oversized glasses and flats are a constant.

As far as being dressed to the nines, my style seems to be one of what ever accentuates my confidence and full figure. I love being alluring in my attitude and dress. I agree with Secret_shopper, also. Classics is something most of my wardrobe consists of. Years from now people will yet think my clothes are new, up to date, sexy, and justified. I LOVE dressing classic. It has always been a staple for me.

My style is a work in progress. I have been really enjoying reading and working through the book called Style Statement - Live by Your Own Design by McCarthy and LaPorte. This book really is more like a workbook and 'asks' thought-provoking questions that are helping me to connect who I am on the inside with what I project to the world. So far, I'm thinking my style statement, which is a two-word personal style definition, would be Structured Elegance.

Also, another great book is Fabulous You - Unlock your Perfect Personal Style by Tori Hartman. Until reading this book, I would have pegged myself as romantic or traditional, but I truly am a classic. I am seeing that I am happier when I am more 'dressed up' and finished.

Since making a conscious effort to identify and hone my style, I have begun to move from frumpy Little House on the Prairie to a more elegant, contemporary ladylike look. I only wear dresses or skirts because I believe that they are more feminine than pants/shorts, so sometimes it's a challenge to find outfits that are casual-appropriate, but I am enjoying the journey.

I don't know how I would catergorize my style, I would say firstly I LOVE prints as more than half of my wardrobe consist of some form pattern, print etc. I also love wearing skinny jeans ALOT and flats as i'm 5ft8 put once in a while the occassional heels. I tend to wear cradigans and very much into the bf blazer trend which I kind of was but more within the fitted blazer. Oh and I also forget to say that I LOVE to accessories whether it be from the shoes, bags, jewllery, I feel is ultimatly important in terms of change the look of an outfit as well as adding detail.

I can go from Classic to Punk rock (not over the top punk just atouch) depends on my mood. But I always have a fabulous bag and hot shoes, usually heels. And I love black!! (but trying to get more color)

I'm pretty conservative, but can get a little wild with what I wear when i'm going to a party or the club.
