To lessen the bulk of layers, I like sleeveless button-up. Give the look, witout the bulk.

yes, I got the heather color.

Now in terms of leggings or hose, I actually prefer wearing slk nylon thigh hose - not so much on the leggings. Stay with a jet black or shoot for an off-black myst color?

The other part is on the shoes. Here are some I could wear, which do you think would be best?

Left Back (Stuart Weitzman Fever) 4" heel
Left Front (Stuart Weitzman Sensual) 3 1/2"
Right Back (Charles David Leisure) 4" heel
Right Front (Icone) 4" heel

It isn't the sleeves I don't like. It is all that fabric around my waist. I do have a couple of charmeuse blouses that are great for layering since they are slippery and do not feel bulky.

Speaking of sleeveless, I did get the Bettina cami from J Crew in the rose color and adore it under my cardis.

Any of the shoes would look fine, but I would go with black opaque legwear like the model.

If you were to buy new shoes, I would probably go for something a little less pointy, more like the model.

I think it could be office/work-appropriate, but I'd pair it with things that are unltra-conservative.

I love leather skirts and find that they can be very office-appropriate when worn correctly. Don't overdo it with the accessories, and try to stay away from loud tops. Let the skirt be the statement piece; keep everything else understated.

I really want a leather skirt for the fall as well. I think it would look good with a white dress shirt, opaque black tights and matte black pumps.

I would wear one for sure. They are a little 'risky' (which I like) and, if worn with appropriate conservative other items they work very well. IMO - Right Front (Icone) 4" heel - gets my vote

Yes. Can't really wear leather in the summer. Too hot. I have few leather skirts in different colors(all neutral). Will probably get something pleated this fall

I have a couple of leather skirts but havn't worn them for ages, but I agree depends on how you match them. I would use really dark panties a blazer but maybe a bid longer a white shirt/blouse one or two chanel pearl nacklaces etc...

yes, I would...but my preference is to wear a leather dress; simple tunic style, short sleeved.
