Carpe diem...
Hi everyone,

I was wondering if I could get some opinions from fellow TPF members... In the first week of February I'll be in Rome for a few days (I always visite a important city at the end of my college exams ) and I'm not exactly sure what to wear... I was in Milan some time ago but I don't exactly recall what was the pr***minant "style"...
So what would be your "must take" for a 20 year old guy?

Thank you

I would go classic... Great pair of fitted good condition jeans in a dark wash, a striped button up shirt, a cashmere v-neck in a neutral color, and a classic peacoat with a scarf. You can dress this look up with a tie or dress it down with a pair of sneakers. and add your Dolce & Gabbana messenger for a classic sporty look. Great collection BTW

dark or european style sneakers, no american style shoes, lol. Italians are very fashionable and wear dark jeans, nice shoes, and nice clothes. have fun, I LOVE Rome!!!

I say for you- a classic Club Monaco(ish) ( Club Monaco's a store) type look will work great for Milan. :)- http://www.clubmonaco.com

Thank you so much for the great pointers !
I still have some time to choose my outfits but I like to start in advance and I think I'll follow your advise lulu3955.
Also, thanks thefashionhead for the scarves idea (I'll definitely will take some scarves - actually, during the Winter, they are one of my daily needs next to a watch ).
Thank you LeeMiller, I will bring some very europpean style sneakers (I'm thinking in either Dolce & Gabbana or Gucci..) and I'll try to enjoy myself to the most, Rome as always been one of my "must-go" cities.
What a great site yslalice, thanks for sharing
And thank you ladyeeboutique... I'll start searching for some ideas at Club Monaco looks right now :).
