Default Very last minute, but need your help
Hey everyone, my old professor is having a book party that I was invited to. It's to launch his new novel - there's going to be a reception. I'm really not sure of what to wear. Some people think it's casual, while others aren't sure. I don't want to go in it under-dressed or overdressed.

Has anyone been to a book party before? Is there a specific dress code?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

why don't you just wear a little black dress? i think that's appropriate in any social occasion.

Do you think this is too much? But with closed heels and black tights.

rimma, that outfit seems appropriate for the event! Not too flashy! Cute and classy.
