Um, any suggestions on what a "rockstar" wears?

I'm going to a friend's "Rockstar" themed party tonight. But my style is sort of preppy/girly/conservative that I have no idea what to wear...glitter nail polish?

Am I supposed to show up in a ripped tshirt or something?! Or should I just accessorize with a lot of jewelery and wear dark eyeliner or something?

I bought this really cute teal blouse with ruffles the other day but I obviously can't wear that!

help plz!

^^Actually, I think with the right accessories/accent pieces, the blouse could work. Maybe with some black skinny jeans, a pyramid-stud belt (maybe in a loud color), and maybe you could buy some of those clips with the fake colored hair, or put some streaks of colored hair mascara? Also some skull jewelry. I think you could find all these things at Hot Topic. The eyeliner would help too, of course.

you know if you go to photobucket.. there is this girl on there who does the "scene" look. its like rockish-emo-glam shes really cute its like pops of color, heavy eyeliner and teased hair... lol but you could definitely get some inspiration from her.

I went over to Hot Topic today and bought some pink hair extensions :)

I think I'm going to wear a chiffon leopard print blouse with black shorts and strappy black patent heels... haha my friend might even go in a feather boa so i might bring it along LOL.
