Default TR sizing help

Help ladies!
I want to buy a couple of pairs of TR jeans, is there anywhere other than revolve where I can read sizing info & reviews relating to each particular style?

I am after the Kate Crop in dark pony express & the Billy natural big T, if anyone has these do they stretch a great deal?

Thank you

the general rule for true religion is to go one size up, isn't it?

these jeans fit me terribly but the unanimous consensus with any of my friends that owns a pair is to size up.

Maybe it's just me, but I found that going one size down fit me better...

No its not just you, loveheartSHOP, I've found that mine have stretched a bit over wear and would probably go down a size for my next pair.

TR jeans do have a tendency to "grow" so get them snug when you buy them

It really depends. I find that they stretch out ALOT..so if you go one size up and wear them, within a few hours they will be slipping off your hips and you will be constantly pulling them up. It's hard to avoid "coinslot" when this happens!! So if you go with your true size to avoid the stretching out you have to be able to bear wearing super tight jeans for a while until they get more comfy.

I prefer to go one size up and just wash/dry my jeans a lot because they NEVER fade.

Oh! I just read that you are looking for Billy. I am actually wearing a pair of Billys right now!!!

This is probably the 3rd or 4th time I've worn them since I bought them...and they have stretched out. I would say the waistband is probably about 1.5 inches bigger than it originally was..I have been pulling them up all day!. They have stretched out to a comfortable amount on my butt and hips but they are still relatively tight on my knees and thighs. They were really tight around my knees when I first them bought them..I could barely bend my legs to sit but I can now :) Hope that helps!

I wear a size 27 in TR and that's about the same size I wear in all other jeans as well, so they run pretty true to size for me.

IMO it really depends. the older TRs are pretty TTS and for most you'd have to size up. With the newer TRs, a lot of them are made a size bigger + they're super stretchy so you would have to size down.

The Dark Pony Express wash tends to run at least one size big IMO. As for the Billys in Natural Big T, are they stretch or rigid? Stretch tends to run more TTS and rigid stretches out alot, so many size down.

Awww you girls are awesome, thank you!!
Melanie the Billys I want are rigid, and I do like my jeans quite fitted so I guess I'll size down.
JCinwrppingppr thank you so much for all of your sizing info

In Kate I have to go down a size, this one has tons of stretch. Billy run true to size for me.
