Default is there a brand that just WILL NOT work for you, no matter what?

For me, it's Velvet. They're very much my style, and I've ordered their products or tried them on in person probably two dozen times, and no matter what, they just don't look right on me AT ALL! The only thing I've ever kept of theirs was a wrap cardigan from last winter, which only fit because, by nature, it was completely unstructured, stretchy, and wearable in a hundred different ways. I've tried shirts, dresses, tunics, leggings, everything. I own lots of stuff from similar brands that I wear often, and I really wish I loved Velvet, because they make some adorable stuff that I've gotten great deals on! But no matter what, it never fits me right.

Does anyone else have a brand like this that is just NOT meant to be in their wardrobe?

Tsubi jeans! oh my god...I got the largest size...like a 32 and still could not button them! They were low sitting skinny jeans so they sat the hips. My hipbone is big ..38" but still...it's depressing!

Victoria's Secret. No matter what size of bra (band/cup combination) I try, there's always something little bit off.

Citizens of Humanity. I actually own a pair or two but they aren't my favorite. I kind of got caught up in the hype a few years back but simple put, they don't work. I tried them again recently and they still just don't look good.

Another vote for True Religions. They make my butt look like it starts at my knees.

Oh God, so many. Saddest for me though is 3.1 Phillip Lim....LOVE Phillip Lim's clothes/aesthetic but his stuff is sized too big and is cut too boxy. I love the drapey, oversized, androgynous look, but I look like I'm drowning in his clothes.

Two jean brans - 7 jeans, the fit just isn't right, I must have tried on a zillion pairs and only one looked good but it was in a hideous wash.

Joe's Jeans - I'm definitely in between sizes - 28 looks huge on me, 27 is just a bit too tight.

I have a lot of trouble finding things at Bebe to fit me correctly. I like a lot of their clothing and have a few things from there, but I have trouble finding items that are cut right for my body. I went shopping there with friends and they both seemed to have the same problem even though we all three had different body types. I don't know who Bebe makes the fit of their clothing for, but it's not for the average woman it doesn't seem.

I also have never had much luck with any Dolce & Gabbana fitting me correctly.

Rick Owens.....I love the aesthetics of it on the runway and even on friends but somehow it just looks awful on me

DSquared.....I absolutely ADORE this brand but I've tried and tried and just can't make it work, the jeans are unbelievably low rise and everything is very narrow in the shoulders

Victorias Secret underwear.....I can't seem to find a bra that either doesn't gape at the cups or I'm spilling out of
