Default Strapless bra for a 34C?

Can anyone help me find a strapless bra that doesn't completely suck?

I'm wearing a VS 100 different ways bra today with the straps removed and it... sucks. It won't stay up and the band feels too big. I guess I could try a 32C/D, but 32 is usually too tight.

I need something with an underwire and not padded. Firm cups - not the bandeau type.

I'd appreciate any suggestions!

I don't have suggestions for specific brands, but I have had troubles finding strapless bras (and normal bras too) because 32C is apparently a really weird size. Macy's (as much as i hate that store) has a really great bra selection and SAs that know what they're doing. I would check it out.

I use the Gap Body convertible bra. Has some light padding and comes with removal plastic "see-through" straps. Use it all the time!!!

If the dress will allow it, I would really recommend a strapless longline bra. The extra corset-style boning at the waist will keep it from slipping and provide extra support. I've never had any luck with bandeau-style strapless bras. I can usually find something at Macy's or Penneys that works in this style.

i have a maidenform strapless bra in 34d. it's lined, not padded and stays up pretty well. the band seems to run larger than brands like victoria's secret though so i'm not sure if it's going to work for you. i wish the cup was cut lower though, cuz it's barely low enough for the dress i'm wearing it with (my dress isn't that low, btw...no cleavage or anything!).

i would like to know what other people recommend too since i'm looking for more strapless bras!

I am the same size..sometimes 34 D. I usually go to Neimans and have them measure me and I usually buy Chantelle Strapless Bras. They last, you get good support and you don't look bigger. Now all my bras are Chantelle and they have great support without making me look larger.

calvin klein's perfectly fit strapless bras with removable straps. they're a staple in my closet...and gives a great shape underneath clothes. simple with lace on the sides only. comes in black, cream and nude i think.

Try Wacoal. They aren't cheap, but they feel great.

I'm a 34C and I have maidenform's strapless bras and they really fit and stay up. VS completely sucked and would never stay up.

I'm the same and always have a horrible time finding good ones. Anyway, based on recommendations on here, I recently tried the Nubra and totally love it! Seriously, I have been looking for shirts that are backless etc. just so I can wear it. Ok, that sounds bad (but true haha).

i read somewhere that for strapless bras, you should size up one cup, size down one band size. i haven't personally tried it yet, but i will next time since mine always fall down during the day

Maybe you can try this Fantasie strapless bra. Comes in a 34C. Here's a photo: http://www.laurensilva.com/Fantasie_.../fant-4530.htm

I bought a strapless bra and went down a band size just so I could make sure it won't slip down. Better if could fit the bras, at least you can be sure what size you should buy.
