i have a cobalt blue dress and its somehow got some stain on it i dont know how but its massive and on the chest part of the dress lol.

shoudl i just buy something like oxi vanish and hope that works or can i try lemon juice now as i have some?

What is the fabric content of the dress? If it is satin/silk, I would not use lemon juice.

i currently have it soaked in the sink with lots of washing powder and warm water then ill put it in the ashing machine later and see how that goes :S

I'd try either something like oxyclean or maybe even shout? I've had great luck with both of those products.

Ah, cotton- the stain should come out easily then.

You could delute bleach with water and soak for the white shorts.

I have good luck with shout. DF swears by the oxyclean spray stuff.

Since it's cotton, the stain will come out easily, but dooon't wash in warm water. Warm water sets stains. You should wash it in cold water if you want the stain to come out.

I would use Spray 'n' Wash. Works wonders, and it's color safe. I heard the Oxy stuff fades colors. If you try it, you should use it on a small hidden area first, to see if the fabric is colorfast.

You should try treating the stain with the Tide-to-go pen. It's pretty effective on cotton IMO.
