Default Shoes, Belts and Bags... Should they be the same color?

I've been wondering this for awhile now, and asked some friends/family members about how important/non-important it is to have all your accessories match (colorwise)

I've gotten very different answers, so I wanted to check with my ladies here to see what they think.

Can I wear a tan belt with a black bag and black boots?

Or can I wear tan boots with a black belt /black bag?

What do you ladies think?

I dont think they necessarily have to match as long as it all looks good together! HTH

I'm not a fan of matchy-matchy accessories. Different colors are more interesting to look at!

Yes mix and match! As long as they aren't too close in color (ex: dark brown and black) it's ok. I don't like it when too many things match.

You can totally wear those combos! I mix and match my bags/shoes/belts too. But for more dressier occasions, I like to match my shoes w/my bag.

no way! that can look too boring. ONLY two of the three can match.

like matching shoe and bag with differnt color belt or vice versa

Definitely mix and match gives it a more "thrown together" look that's more casual. I think especially, since tan leathers aren't always the same shade either and the outfit ends up looking overthought/ over considered.

I never match. I will wear an LV monogram bag, and I do not have shoes to match. What I look for is the "flow of an outfit." It should not look bizarre. but i have worn black boots/ black dress/ LV bag and I felt the bag was just fine...

I'm not a fan of "matchy - matchy" All of your colors have to go well together.

I don´t think they have to match. I like to colour co ordinate my outfits, but sometimes I personally prefer to match shoes or bag or belt to the clothing i am wearing.
