Default Sex And The City's Patricia Field to design for M&S, women of Britain rejoice

http://www.osoblog.tv/

That's right, ladies. In a very canny move indeed, Marks And Spencer has signed up Sex And The City stylist Patricia Field to design a one-off range for the store. And looking at the picture above, doesn't this partnership make sense somehow?

"The Patricia Field For M&S Collection will be a unique chance to make New York's hottest styles part of every woman's wardrobe," coos the stylist-slash-designer. "It embodies the splashy and exuberant lifestyle that I have consistently created in my work with superstars as Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Lucy Liu or Meryl Streep."

And what can we expect from the Collection (with a capital C)? According to the Daily Mail, "the designs are a secret - but the 35 pieces, in store from October, will include a floral-print dress in champagne and black, with puffball skirt, and a black stretch, satin-corseted halterneck dress."

Or as Ms Field herself puts it: "The collection has a luxury appeal, with a wink to on-trend, high-octane glamour, and focuses primarily on dresses - as well as a capsule collection of tops, trousers and accessories."

Ladies of Britain: are you ready for "high octane glamour", M&S-style? I think we are.

Oh my.....I can't say I'm looking forward to this. She may be great as a stylist but her designs are always so way out

It'll be interesting. I think she's an amazing stylist, one of the best around.

The Patricia Field for M&S was available in London today and will be available in most parts of the UK tomorrow. It is now available online http://www.marksandspencer.com/gp/node/n/80944031

just hit the store I bought the silk jacket think bettlejuice & you'll know which one I mean.

My store only got a few pieces but I tried most on, the red flower, puffball dress made me look like a pregnant moose, one shouldered red dress picked out every lump & bump and belt with it was too big. I like the sequin jacket but I thought the tailoring was a bit all over the place. the ruffle tied dress looked nice but a teensy bit tight on chest so I didn't get it. The corsage dress sold out within hours online

This collection is sooooooooo hot. My store sold most of the accessories within an hour. I think you have to see the collection in real life to see how good it is.

honestly, i'm kind of over her selling the same SATC outfits she styled OVER AND OVER, i mean the studded belt with gloves and booties? the one shoulder dress with MASSIVE flower?

it was wonderful for the movie, but honestly, she needs to CALM DOWN.

i went to her store in NY thinking it would be great and stuff, but it was actually kinda scary and a little weird.
