i wouldn't wear jeans the first week even though they say you're allowed to... for work i always say over is better than underdressed... it's complimentary to your employer. but if people really do wear jeans, i would say dark jeans would be best, with button down blouses or sweaters

I think that skinny jeans would be appropriate IF they were outfitted appropriately. If you paired them with cute flats and a tunic or blazer. You definitely want to separate your work appearance from your causal appearance IMO. I also agree with elmel when she stated that it is always better to be overdressed :)

i think that means no t-shirts, or stuff you would wear on the weekends. in my opinion, it sounds like the equivalent to "casual" fridays in a business casual environment where you can wear jeans, but you still have to wear a professional shirt (like a collared button up).

I agree with loserxstar. Don't t-shirts or things you're wear on your weekends or days off. And definitely nothing that shows your shoulders, like tank tops.

Cardigans, button-up shirts, nice blouses, those are all good choices.

I think maybe you should go to work wearing a button up and cardis and sweaters the first week to feel it out. See if other people are wearing polos. Good luck!! and Congrats!!

i think polos are fine. i wear polos to work occassionally in a business casual environment (i am on the more casual side of business casual)

one more thing i want to add is i think tennis shoes would be a no no. heels or dress shoes!
