I just went to Neimans and bought this skirt. I am not sure what to wear with it now. I loved the asian influence and the uniqueness of the skirt but now I wonder if it is versatile enough. Should I return it? What would you wear with it?

I think it is cute. Wear it with burgandy, white, silver, black, grey, blue. The options are endless. If you love it, keep it. You could definitely wear it to work, somewhere dressy or keep it casual. You just have to add the right top, shoes, and accessories.

well the model is wearing a dark color sweater maroon i think? I have a similar one from Express a while ago in cashmere, cap sleeve and it goes well with a skirt like that

you can totally wear a white blouse with it for the summer. or a while blouse with a colored vest

Gosh I have always been so indecisive. I will buy something and love it and then get home and hate it. Thanks for the responses it seems a lot of things would go with the skirt and I really like the vest idea. Sequins in the daytime though? I'll play around with it and see.

I would try to replicate something like what the model is wearing! It's a really cute skirt! But i think it would also be great with silver, grey, but a maybe a little black.

i'd copy the model's look as well, but if you aren't totally in love with it anymore then take it back and get something you love more.

Oops, I didn't read the skirt's description. I just went by the photo. Is it majority sequins? Or just the design? I think you could wear sequins in the daytime, provided that you keep everything else subtle.

Well, for a $400 polyester skirt (completely ignoring the designer brand/pretty design), I'd want to absolutely love it, and it doesn't seem like you do. It sounds like you should return it and buy something a little more versatile.

You can wear a lot with it, the burgundy looks good, or you could do black, or even red.

Uggh, when I purchased the skirt they didn't have my size so I had it shipped to me. I got it today and now I know the problem. The problem is I love the print and design but I'm not crazy about the fit and length plus I actually own nothing other than a white blouse that I would wear with it. It's going back, but ty for all your ideas ladies.

I think you made a good choice in deciding to return it, because if you don't like the fit and the length you won't be happy with it no matter what else you are able to do with it. (in a sense of mixing and matching with tops)
