Default Need Help With Professional Suit!

I need some help in finding a brand that makes a professional suite but would fit a person smaller than a size zero! I have had the hardest time trying to find one that looks professional. All of the suits that I have found that fit me, don't look professional enough, KWIM? Price is not really a major concern, but I am not paying like 4000.

My sister's fiance is getting his suit custom made from Armani. Why will they so Men's Suits custom made but not women? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

TIA!

Sorry if this is a silly question, but have you tried taking the smallest size to a tailor for adjustments? Plenty of average-sized people can't buy things off the rack because of how they fit, and a tailor can do wonders.

I'm pretty skinny and most stores' size 0 pants don't fit me well at all (still too big at the waist or the butt). But I've found that I love Express' dressy clothes! Especially their Editor pants. Maybe you can give that a shot

Do you have a Nordstrom near you? They should be able to tell you which brands run small...

See I have tried that with many things. The problem is that most of the time too much has to be done to the item (ie. pants) and it doesn't fit the way I would like them to fit. It's not like the problem is just my waist or just the length, it is the hips, and lots of other things.

If you are short, J.Crew makes a petite 0 and they make pretty nice quality wool suits.

^Yes, and at J. Crew a 0 petite is like a 00 because you have to order a size larger in petites. On top of that, I have found that I have to order another size up in J. Crew suiting bottoms as they seem to run small. So, I am usually a 2 but would order a 6 petite in J. Crew suiting pants/skirts and a 4 petite for the jacket. Good luck!
