Default Need a lil Help please!? Victoria Beckham jeans

Hello ladies!! First time I've ever posted in this forum,I don't usually dilemma, but I'm really getting stuck,so any veiws, good or bad please share!! All comments appreciated!!

Ok,I have a pair of Victoria Beckham Rock and Republic jeans, the are about 1 and a half years past now,the ones with the big logo and crystals (in white) on the pockets.
I have'nt worn them more than twice as I feel they are quite showy, but I'm getting over that bit now,as they are slowly getting to vintage-y age iykwim?
My hubby bought them for me when I was really, really bad with post natal/partum depression and it was such a thoughtful and kind gesture to cheer me up,I really could not find it in my heart to refuse them, but I promised myself I would wear them, now 1 and a half years on,feeling better about myself and things,I am going to make the effort and find a way of wearing them.
They were really expensive and an absolute killer fit,and hubby loves them as the fit as so good,so to repay his thoughtfullness,I'm going to get as much wear out of them as possible!!!!!

Btw,they look just brilliant with high heels, but since my lil girl was born,I got out of the habit of wearing them, and can only last about two hours in heels now!! So anything working around that?? Thanks so much!!!

Awwww... your hubby's so sweet! And has such good taste in jeans LOL!

Could you get them hemmed with the original hem and wear them with flats or a kitten heel?

Thanks hun!! I hemmed them up myself to wear with heels, but it was a very narrow hem at the bottom, and done in black,so I was ok doing that without worrying, and they are still fairly long, just for this sort of situation to come up and I can then adjust them again shorter, rather than going too short in the first place with no going back!!
I have had an idea myself, but I'm a bit unsure of it as the jeans maybe just to glamourous for it.
I got a beautiful pair of cowboy boots,in oak,and have had an oak belt for ages,so I thought those,as a cuban heel gives a lil lift, without being painful to wear for long time stretches, would look good with a well cut white shirt,or a good quailty white vest.
The length then may also be good for flats, kitten heels and trainers, but again I'm unsure of the trainers with them.
I only want to shorten them one more time, and get most wear out of them, sadly I don't think heels will ever really make it back big time in my wardrobe, shame as I would die for a pair of Laboutins.......................
So what do you think of the ideas I have had,the kitten heels sounds brilliant to me!! Thank you!xx

Love the sound with the cowboy boots, anything with a chunkier heel will make it easier to walk on. I would also try something like Frye boots

I have two pairs of jeans hemmed for the length of heels but on regular days I want to wear them to school with flats I just cuff them (on the inside) and iron the new "hem" down. I find they always stay up... it has the be thick denim but all the R&R crowns usually are. It works out really well for me!

Mooks!! Thank you so much for the pics!! Yes I know those!! And have thought about them too, never picked them up so never saw the name, but it is a style I've looked at and would wear for definate,I have some bike boots quite similar with slightly lower heels, and buckles up the sides, but those in the pics would be a much better funkier look than my old bike boots( they are'nt real bike boots, just trend ones, but still are bit too 'rough' looking iykwim?)
And yes I gave my cowboy boots a spin today, with a different pair of jeans, and they actually looked very cool!! They did make my legs look longer as they have a bit of a heel and on the whole I felt very feminine!!
So next step, trim the VB's one last time to a bit shorter to go with kitten heels, flats and my boots(keeping in mind those Fryes too!!lol!!) and get wearing them!!
Crush as you can see I did,and its the right thing!! Yippeee!! Thank you !!

And ann.with.an.e,I did read it was a good idea to have two pairs of really good fitting jeans in two lengths, makes absolute sense imo too.But I have'nt seen the VB R+R here in the UK for a while, but I think she's doing a new line of her own thats just dvb, there were some out a while ago,and again I have'nt seen them around for a bit either? So maybe she'll have a whole new range out soon? Hope so as her own fit just as well as the R+R ones and were nearly half the price.
Should have got some, but as I had'nt worn the ones I've got more than twice,I really could'nt justify it,and it could of upset my hubby that I bought another pair without wearing the ones he got me much, and then I go and get others that he might think I preferred?
Well thank you ladies so much!! You helped me with my thoughts,I was worried they could be a bit wrong, but no,and I'm really pleased!! Plus I had'nt thought of kitten heels either!
Now,how do I get a pair of Frye boots in the house unoticed............lol!!
I got a birthday coming up so they will be ideal!! Thank you all so much!!
Lots of love and hugs Chaz xxxx
