I don't post much, but I do follow your thread! You do an amazing job!

I just wanted to pop in and say congratulations on your pregnancy!

I must say I am dissappointed that you won't be showing any pregnancy inspirations.

I do wish you & the baby nothing but good health & happiness!

OH i wish, but thankyou for saying that, you are so super sweet!
I am definately turning to even more organic products than i was before, i really dislike things that contain SLS and other 'bad' chemicals, and i also loathe any hair dye products that contain PPDs and ammonia

Thankyou so much for this post, it means a lot to me.
I must admit to being slightly worried to how everything turns out with this pregnancy considering that it was unplanned and thus i was not excatly prepared with taking pre-natal vitamins and what not, i didn't even start taking folic acid until i was nearly 2 months gone (sigh) but hopefully God will be with us

Don't worry yourself too much, hun! Honestly, baby #2 was a surprise for me and I was in the same boat. Wasn't taking my pre-natals, etc. I also did not eat/drink half as healthy with her as I did with my son (baby #1). I did everything by the book with him, literally...never drank a drop of soda, took all my vitamins (even prior to conception), drank tons & tons of water and ate super healthy. That pregnancy and birth was MUCH more difficult than with my daughter (#2). My daughter was perfect and it was a much easier birth and pregnancy. Our bodies are miraculous and I think they compensate when necessary! I am sure you will have a perfectly healthy little bundle in the end! Best wishes!

Thankyou SO much for this! You have no idea how i have been worrying myself so your reassuring words mean a lot to me.
I have noticed that this pregnancy has been so different to my last, i have had AWFUL sickness, been extremely tired and my boobs have grown (sorry if TMI, lol) but the last time i had such an easy, breezy pregnancy with only mild nausea and i felt pretty much like myself for the whole time. It has thrown me through a loop with all the differences and i have been wondering why (i had been thinking that there was maybe something wrong) but i guess it is just a matter of each and every pregnancy being different...
BTW: Sorry if this sounds dumb but i have no idea why soda is bad during pregnancy (i drink a LOT of diet pink lemonade) so should i not be doing? xoxo

Oh, you are very welcome! I just know how much I worried and I think so much of it is unwarranted. I even got scared to death by the ultrasound tech, who I think was inexperienced and made me think something was wrong when it really wasn't, just a bit too early in the pregnancy to find what they were looking for... I left in tears and worried profusely for the next 22 weeks of my pregnancy. Sometimes I think all this technology and testing they do causes unnecessary worry and doubt, I even opted out of some of the testing. I don't know that soda is per say bad, but I mostly drink diet soda, so I tried to stay away from the artificial sweeteners as well as the caffeine. And like I said that was not the case with my daughter. I did limit my intake, and tried to stay away from the caffeine, but it surely was not non-existent in my diet. HTH!

Oh gosh you are so right! They asked me if i wanted the tests for DS but they of course involve blood tests and a scan of the baby's neck and even then they can only tell you whether you are 'high or low risk' and it will take a further blood test along the line for them to diagnose, well i didn't want to be told that i am 'high risk' and then worry unneccessarily for the next few months and then maybe nothing abnormal could be going on with the baby, so all in all i opted out, and i will just pray to God that everything will be okay...
I have heard that aspartame (sp?) that is found in soda can cause all kinds of problems and i have noticed that a lot of supermarket brands have now begun using other forms of artificial sweeteners so maybe that is what the problem is with fizzy pop??? I have heard about steering clear of caffeine and luckily i only have one very weak coffee in the morning so hopefully that will be okay.
The list that they now send home with you on 'things to avoid' is really alarming, i mean it even states to not clean the cats litter tray out because of the possibility of contracting toxoplasmosis and yet who would deal with a stinky litter tray until hubby came home from work?

PG, you always look great and are spot on with your inspired looks! I'm sorry to read you're not feeling well.
I do have a question: How the heck do you change your hair color so frequently with out it drying out? What's your secret hair product? Mine looks frizzy after high lights yet yours always looks super shiny!!

Hey girl, thankyou for your sweet words, you are a doll
Gosh i always think that my hair looks dry in photos compared to how shiny it looks in real life, so you have made me feel better there, lol! I use Pureology or Organix to wash and condition and then ALWAYS heat protectant spray before i use heated stylers. But i really think that your hair looks great hun.
BTW i totally forgot to tell you how much i loved this outfit on you: Post Your Outfit of the Day! that is totally something that i would wear, you look fab!!!

I have faith that everything is ok! So many women have been in your situation, not finding out until months in! My mom was the same way, and she was 40 to add to it. Everything turned out fine :) Be sure to relax and God bless!

Thankyou sweets, having had the first scan though i did start to feel slightly better, but i won't be 100% until after the second scan and then baby (hopefully) being born and being healthy and happy
My mum had me at 40, it is amazing when ladies can have babies at that age, i think that the older mums make the best mums TBH.

Yes Pureology rocks! I mean the prices are not all that cheap (compared to OTC products) but the products themselves really work for me and i love the fact that they are organic and do not test on animals, so for me that is many reason to carry on forking out the money and supporting them
