that's a good question. does it have to be knee length or longer to be considered modest? obviously a mini skirt wouldn't fall in the "modest" category but what about a skirt thats a few inches above your knees is that no longer considered modest?

Skirts should at least cover the knees

For anyone who likes Old Navy, they have a dress sale going on right now. There are some cute maxi dresses on the site

They do have some cute maxi dresses. I bought several back in April. For the price, they are well made and fit really well.

Yes when I buy things from O/N they hold up pretty well, deals in store are usually better than online to my surprise! Last year I went in store and found many things really cheap.

Though i am sometimes guilty of the long sleeved tee under a dress sometimes its the only thing that works!

well, when one travels and visits religious sites, the guidebooks usually say something like "modest dress required" and it is usually defined as shoulders and knees covered... and and in some cases, elbows too
