Default This MJ Dress for a friend's wedding - what do you think?
http://www.shopbop.com/cherry-blosso...search-viewall

I stumbled upon this dress whilst looking for one to wear to a friend's wedding in 3 weeks time..

I quite like it and I think it will suit me..

I don't like anything too revealing and colourful..so I thought this might be nice..

However, after showing it to my sister (older), her comment was "it is too old even for mom!"
Note that mom is in her mid 50s!

Her comment really put me off, so I decided to have a think about it..

After few days contemplating, I decided that I really like it and that dress really encapsulates me...

Now I need other opinions because I want to be sure about it since it is not cheap...

So please share your thoughts..

Thanks heaps!

I like it, and think it is very appropriate for a wedding. At the very least you should order it and see how it looks on you - just return if you don't like the way it looks.

Hi Aki!

I really like the dress and do think it's appropriate for a wedding. IMO it doesn't look like it's for 'older ladies'. Even though it is a 'conservative' dress (not revealing) it still has a youthful / fun look to it- I love the material, and I think the length is perfect. You can wear it with some nice stilettos and some cool jewelry.

I think the dress is adorable, and with the right accessories, you can make it suit your personality. I'd buy it!

Just because something is not revealing does not mean that it is "old"! I like that dress, and I think it looks fresh and youthful; it just isn't revealing. I think it is very appropriate for a wedding and could be a great dress to have for many other functions, as well.

I like the dress too. It is simple and classy. As long as you maintain the same hem length as the model's in the picture. I also find it appropriate for a wedding.

I think it's charming and youthful in a retro sort of way! I think it'd be perfect for a wedding -- the possibilities are endless in terms of accessorizing it!

Hi Vlore (long time no see!) - That's what I thought that the dress is playful but quite sophisticated in the same time - but my sister's comment really hits (you know how they say, one negative undone all the positive)

So thanks for the vote of confidence
