Default Marc by Marc Jacobs

Is it just my "luck" or it this a usual thing for Marc's items?
I have ordered his jacket and what I received was horrible:
empty switches running across the back! I am unbelievable angry as to how such thing has happened with the - well, it not Oscar de la Renta cathegory for sure - but still, designer clothing. I will certainly try to exchange it but God am I disappointed. Maybe I pay too much attention to the issue of quality but it is very crucial to me and once disappointed I may never go back to the label.
So far, of all the Marcs items I only had a pair of ballerinas - they are torturing my feet, horribly uncomfortable.
Am I simply unlucky or it is sad truth?

Sorry to hear that you are disappointed with MbyMJ. What are empty switches? Quality should always be an issue for anything you pay for. I have several MbyMJ items (sunglasses, a hoody, t-shirts, leggings, and mouse flats) but I haven't been disappointed with any of my purchases. Nothing has fallen off, ripped, or shed so I'm pleased. I only have a problem with my shoes but I think it's because I bought it a tad too small.

Most probably unlucky, really.

I've quite a few of his stuff, and it's of fantastic quality. Not couture... but not cheap high street stuff though.

I haven't had any problems with my MbyMJ items....keep in mind, it is his secondary line, so it's not really comparable to an Oscar de la Renta (unless you're comparing his collection line).

Good luck...I know it's frustrating when things like that happen.
