Love this thread.
I think my closet would look much better if I simply purchased some wooden hangers. Seems like it makes such a difference! |

^^Wooden hangers transformed my closet -- I highly recommend them. My DH found some at Big Lots. If I remember correctly, they were $4 or $5 for a 10-pack.

I had my old closet (live in new place now) re-organized/redone using Elfa products from Container Store. It gave me so much more space! The problem is I live in a new place now and am too lazy to take apart my old closet and redo it in my new place..Upside, new place has bigger closet! :)

I replaced all my wooden hangers with those 'huggable hangers.(but didn't buy them on HSN. got them at Bed Bath & Beyond.. with 20% coupon
I LOVE THEM.. I went from a 'stuffed closet' to a neat/clean totally organized closet. I bought them in black and have over 200 hangers. they actually more than double your closet space... Honest Nothing falls off of them - you can even hang sweaters with no 'lumpy effect' and I even hang my camies. and they stay on. never ever slip off.. I kept some wooden hangers for my winter coats but they are really not necessary. as these hangers are well made and really hold up.. I've had them for over 2 years now. and have never been sorry I bought them Helene |

It is SO unfair that I am born in Europe where we just have wardrobes and not walk-in-closets like you guys

I really like the huggable hangers. I just turned my den into a dressing room. I'm loving it so far. I will be posting pictures within the next few days. He huggie hangs made a big difference. I just wish I could find a cleaners that was willing to put my dry cleaning on the huggies. It's a serious task transferring the clothes from the stupid wire hangers.
