I bought a juicy terry cloth short sleeve hoodie (which I like a lot because I feel like it makes me look not as slobby if I go out without taking a shower on my way to the gym or something...) about a month ago. I have several other juicy hoodies and this has never happened....but the J zipper pull like broke in half. Its just this dagger now. I babysit sometimes and I like to wear it to sit, I just don't want to poke their eyes out when I bend down to help them get dressed. They also sometimes pull on the J and I don't want to hurt them!
I went to the Juicy on 5th Avenue near Union Square and the SA acted like she had never seen that before and said she couldn't help me. She told me to e-mail this woman, so I did, but I haven't heard anything from her. Has this happened to anyone else before? It seems like they could switch the Js out pretty easily...I didn't know it would be such a problem.... |

I would email the company. I imagine there's some kind of "contact us" on their website.

i have broken a couple of zipper pulls on my juicy hoodies. you can go to the juicy website and contact customer service, and they can send you a new zipper pull in the mail. you will need a pair of pliers to remove the old one and put on the new one. they might ask you to fax them a copy of your receipt, though.

wow, that's odd. I've got like....25-30 of their jackets and i've never broken a zipper pull before, your's might have been defective. But I agree with the other posters, you should contact customer service on their site. Hope you get it fixed!

I've had the J fall off of one of my hoodies, and the entire zipper (the part that moves up and down, that is) fell off another one. So annoying.

i actually don't think the quality of juicy is all that great. a lot of my generic macy's brand ones have held up better. a lot of my juicy hoodies get tiny holes where the pockets connect to the jacket too.

^^I think the quality went down a lot after Liz Claiborne bought them out.

I heard that if you zip it up before you throw it in the washer/dryer you're less likely to have it break since it won't bang around as much. Also helps to throw them in with a bunch of other clothes. They're my favorite hoodies.
