Schadenfreude, I don't think any of them have beading-am I completely blind?
No, there's no beading. I think she meant the buttons running down one side.

In light of where your getting married, I would go with #3. While #2 is lovely, it seems a wee bit inappropriate for the setting. Clean lines are your friends in this case. Congratulations on getting married in Kenya by the way! I was there just last year and it is SPECTACULAR. I loved it so much I'm planning on heading back next summer. Have you been there before?

I haven't been there-I am so excited to go. I have been spending hours online looking through all of the possibilities. Where did you go and where did you stay?

You have every right to be excited. It is definitely a place that lives up to all the hype!

I stayed at one of the lodges in the Masai Mara and Samburu Game Reserves--All of the arrangements were made by Abecrombie and Kent so I can't recall their names at the moment, but they were quite nice. Where are you planning to stay while you're there?

When are you going and for how long? If you're heading over there now, you'll still be able to see the Great Migration. There are no words to describe seeing thousands of wildebeest and zebra stretched out across the Serengeti.

We are doing it next August-the perfect time for the great migration. I know I'm planning early- I just started looking into it this past weekend, so I haven't booked anything yet.

I don't know if you're going to do this on your own, but if not, you might want to consider going with Abecrombie and Kent. I've never been treated so well or had a trip run so smoothly. They're world famous, so you don't have to worry about not getting your money's worth.

August in a good time to go--I went in the beginning of August myself. A word to the wise about the weather--it is not very hot or humid in the game parks at that time of year (though it can be cold at night) and you might be tempted not to wear suntan lotion when you go out. Don't do it, especially if you go to the Samburu. Because of the high altitude, you'll turn into a tomato. I don't easily burn and my arms burned quite badly. As your dress (whichever one you choose) has your arms, chest, and back exposed, make sure you invest in and use suntan lotion.

I love a unique wedding and to elope just adds to the romance of it all. Congratulations

Whilst the others may be more practical, I'm with most others: gown number two is really, really nice and ever so elegant.

I hope you get to post your wedding photos too - what a gorgeous location to seal your love with!
