Default I love this jacket but its $$$...help!

So last year I saw this jacket on Rachel Bilson and fell in love! But its about $585, w/ shipping from france.

But I saw this one that I pretty similar...but is it similar enough?

Help me feel better about the second one because I cannot spend almost $600 for a jacket!

IMO it's similar but not so much. But if you like the second one too, go for it! If you would just buy that because it looks somewhat like the first one, but you don't love it, leave it. That's just my opinion.

I didn't look at the price before deciding and I felt 50/50 if that helps. I like the sleek arms on the pricey one as they look slimming, I also like the leather better...but it makes the model look pregnant and the other one doesn't so much. I'm honestly not a huge fan of either but it's about what YOU like. If you see yourself wearing the jacket alot for a long time, go for the pricey one. If it won't be a wardrobe staple for the next 3 years, go for the cheap one so you don't feel guilty about it when you outgrow the style down the road.

They look different, but I actually like the second one better. For some reason the first one looks maternity to me.

Even the slim model looks PG in the first one. It would definitely look better unbuttoned.

However, I think both jackets look overly trendy and like they are made of poor quality leather. Personlly I think you can do better than either of those.

i don't think they look similar...i'm not crazy about either jacket, esp for the prices. i feel like leather jackets shouldn't look so dainty...

I've seen the first style in brown and black at Marshalls for about 100-200. I don't think it was as high as 200 last fall. I have it in that exact style #1 and it is by Kenar. I've seen it in black by another company so you can find that style at a cheaper cost.

Second as well; the first definitely makes the model look pregnant. Imo, that style looks better in flowy fabrics than it does in leather.

this jacket looks similar to the first, but it's shorter so it may be more flattering?

it is by Joe's Jeans and it's sold on Revolveclothing.com :)
