I have this knit black dress ....

It's adorable...but I need to wear something under it b/c you can see between my legs (it's a little seethrough).

I tried spanx...but that just looks weird. Should I try black leggings or a black slip?

Why does it still look weird with the spanx? Is it becuase you can still see through the dress? If so, then try the skirt version or maybe leggings so that the see-thru looks intentional.

What's a spanx??

I would suggest a underskirt. Look at the link below. It is from an eBay auction with good suggestions how to use a neglige or similar as a underskirt. Very cute.
