I purchased a pair of metallic Rag&Bone/Jean jeans and the label says dry clean only. I usually never listen to it unless the item is something I treasure very much, but these jeans have such a weird texture!

Online it says: 60.5% cotton/35% polyester/4.5% lycra

Should throwing it in the washing machine be ok?

Normally when a garment does not seem to have very special fabric or lining or shoulder pads I ignore the dry clean instruction and hand wash or wash it anyway (on a wool program or something like that). However with your metallic jeans I am a bit worried that the top layer (i.e. the metallic) might fade or partially fade from the jeans. I had t-shirts with a gold/metallic coating, which coating came of when I washed the t shirt.

Whats the issue with bringing it to the dry cleaner (its not like its very expensive...)?

Talk to your dry cleaner and inquire.

That seems like a good idea, however I think he agrees with the washing label (he never said, sure wash it at home...)

Yeah it's fine.

Wash INSIDE OUT with cold water, no dry
