high waisted

i have been in the market for high waisted black shorts, high waisted denim shorts and high waisted jeans and i haven't been able to find any that i think are right (i'm picky about my clothing

). i want some that are comfy, don't give you "mom butt" or a camel toe. any suggestions and/or pictures. thanks

I will be keeping an eye on this thread. Because I'm afraid that high-waisted will elongate my stomach area and butt area..
What I have seen on Katie Holmes was not impressing me...

Dittos has special stitching on the back so that your butt does not look miles long. I think they sell it on ShopBop.com, take a look! They are also very comfortable.

I really like Bare Style's blog, and she posted this photo in the "Post your Outfit for Today" thread too a while ago. The high-waisted shorts look awesome on her, and she got them from F21 for only $19!

hmmm i am liking that $19!! i am in nyc and the forever 21 by me is 3 floors and it always a wreck... not to mention the tourists
