I used to work in the high fashion industry and got spoiled by discounts. :) And really not a lot of stuff or brands worth retail price IMO. I did pay retail for my classic RO biker jacket though. :) I went to RM's official website for size inquiry and I think Farfetch is their online vendor? That's why when I emailed RM and I got the reply back from farfetch.
I do plan to call their flagship store to order - the only concern is the fit. You know how sometimes you droll over a piece for a long time but when you try it on it just doesn't look right? That's my fear. Being a mom of two toddler boys and working full time, I really don't have time to deal with returns. Ordering should be easy but return will be a big hassle with international transactions. I've been trying to stay away from any international order for that reason .
I love the galaxy style but not sure how the puff sleeves will look on me especially I am petite. Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot!

oh we are too much alike lol, black is also my favorite "color" but I gave up explaining to people that black is actually the lack of color years ago lol. I really like black and white together and so are most of my everyday clothes. I don't like to pay for full retail price either except for LV, Louboutins, Charlotte Olympia, RO, and Chanel. I still need to venture into the world of Hermes...
Anyhow, I would ask RM's customer service to put you on their waitlist for your size. Usually they will be glad to do this for you. In the meantime, if you're worried about the sizing and puff sleeves, maybe you can go to a boutique that carries RM around you? I dunno where you live, but I guess it's not anywhere near a major store like
Neimans or BG? Cuz that would be ideal to try the dress on in person and see if you like the overall look. However, I'm sure you would look lovely in it (especially after having 2 kids and you're like the same size as me?!?! wow... very impressive

). It's just a matter of your own personal taste for the sleeves.
As for the return process, don't worry about it even if you can't try the dress on in person first cuz it's actually quite easy if we're dealing with Farfetch. I'm around in both Canada and USA, so for either countries Farfetch has a great return policy. They come with pre-paid shipping stamps so you just pack things up and call up the courier service to pick up the parcel. No hassle at all.
Let me know how things go :)
