Default Help me accessorize a dress please!! All opinions needed please!

So I have a wedding to go to in July and was looking for a dress. I liked this one and it was a really good price. So I figured I could wear some white shoes and white wristlet with it. I was so wrong. The shoes that I have look so off with the dress and the "white" wristlet is more of a parchment, which is off white. What should I do? The dress is a halter with a low neckline, so I was thinking no necklace. The bottom is an a-line cut and hits right at my knee.

Should I wear some gold shoes with some gold accessories? Help me please!!

do you have a photo of the dress? what color is the dress? I think gold accessories would work well with most summer dresses but more information would help

The dress is a navy blue and white floral pattern. I forgot my camera at work, and I won't be there until Wednesday. I'll try to take a picture then.

I don't know if I should wear bright shoes, a bit more casual white shoe. I really hate accessorizing.

I like navy/white with silver as opposed to gold. You could do a white bag, or a navy bag, and silver shoes, or red/hot pink (not baby pink) shoes with a silver bag... vice versa would work too! I think navy/white is a pretty versatile backdrop for whatever you want to accessorize with, KWIM?

I would do camel or bronze or bright pink, orchid, or yellow patent (or another bright). Gold would work. Silver doesn't usually work for me so I never really consider it, but I'm sure that would work too.

I didn't say you can't do it, but I prefer silver... and with gold, I think a softer gold is more complimentary. For instance, if I wore yellow patent shoes, I would definitely do a softer gold (not silver) bag.

I think if I were wearing that dress I would wear a neutral shoe, a light brown/camel with the same color clutch. As for accessories, no necklace, I would just go with my studs that I have.

Okay, here is the dress on. I am not a small gal, and now I'm wondering if I should even wear this dress or try and find another. Which I really really don't want to do. I also posted another dress that I think might be to risque and to casual for a wedding. I wouldn't wear it with the white shoes mind you.

Thanks again gor your help.

hi!
i do like both dresses. but for the first one i would ditch the shoes and try to find strappy silver or gold heels or a strappy navy heel---really high!
and for a bag....hmmm a navy clutch? or wristlet? maybe patent?
as for the second dress, i can't tell if it's black or brown in there. but i would base my bag and shoe choices on that.
good luck and let us know what you wear!!

I think red accessories would go well with navy blue. Or you could do red shoes and a black purse if you aren't into bag/shoe matching.

Thanks ladies! I really appreciate your help. I'm really freaking out here, b/c I really don't want to buy another dress. I would love to buy new shoes though!

Nolarice, the second dress is black, blue and purple. So I could wear black shoes and I'm done. For the navy/white dress, what do you think of these shoes? I don't want to go too dressy b/c the dress is not that dressy.
