Default Has anyone worn gloves with their wedding gown?

What do you do when it's time to put on the ring? Not sure of the logistics...

Took the gloves off with the bouquet and handed them to a bridesmaid when it was time for the rings to be exchanged.

My one relative wore above the elbow gloves with her wedding gown and in the pictures it looked horrible. They made her arms look fat. She is really skinny so to have anything make her look fat was very hard to do. The pictures of her wedding looked strange with these long gloves on. She had a beautiful designer dress and the gloves took away from the dress. I would take a picture of how you look in the gloves with your dress. You wouldn't want all your wedding pictures to come out strange if they make your arms look weird.

I believe my mothers wedding gloves had a special finger that would slip off kinda its hard to explain but it had a slit so she could get just her finger out to put the ring on.

I thought there might be something like that but I wasn't sure. I will see if I can find something like that...or I could always make my own slit, if I decide to go with the gloves. Thanks!

The SAME thing happened with a girl I know! Its supposed to be one of the best days of your life, and you are supposed to look AMAZING in the photos, and her gloves made the photos look...off, to say the least!

Just try them and see how they look! If they're not tight and shiny, they should look fine. My sister's looked great on her-- she looked like a princess!

It depends on how the wedding planning is going I think....A good pair of white boxing gloves may do the trick........

Opera gloves have little buttons at the wrist. You can undo the buttons to remove your hand while still wearing the glove and then tuck the glove into the wrist.
