i wear juniors sizes so when i go into gap, i feel like their clothes always fit too big. i've never had xs or 0 fitting too big on me, but at gap they do.

ya, I think they run big. Their smallest size is like 2 sizes bigger than what I usually wear lol

gap runs at least 2 sizes big! i'm a 24/25 in designer jeans, but I can't even get Gap size 0 jeans to stay on. Over the past 10 years, Gap has been doing a lot of vanity sizing -- I was a 1 or 2 in high school and definitely have gotten bigger since then, but there's no way that a size 2 will fit me now. My friend who is usually a size 4/6 or is a waist 28/29 in designer jeans recently bought a pair of Gap jeans in a size 2!

I usually wear Citizens for Humanity Jeans in a size 30 because they are so fabulous, but in GAP jeans I'm a size 6 if the jeans do not stretch & a 4 if they do stretch. I find it easier to go to the store an try them on especially if you are curvy or can't afford to return them if they don't fit.

Are they true to size? No. They run big. If they say size 6, they usually fit a size 30 waist. The size marked on the label is smaller than it should be. A GAP 6 is really an 8 or even a 10 in some cases.
